Neck Liposuction
Liposuction of the cheeks, jowls and neck is performed to significantly improve the contour of the neck, jaw line (jowls), and lower cheek area. The procedure is useful for patients with good skin tone who have excess fat beneath the skin. Results are dramatic, with tiny hidden incisions, and recovery is rapid.
There is usually a minimal amount of discomfort following your procedure. There will be some swelling and bruising , most of which will resolve in a week or two. Keeping your head elevated and applying cold compresses will help keep the swelling down. Dr. Metzner uses absorbable sutures so there are none to remove. Strenuous activity can be resumed after two weeks.
